The Zenith™ Series by Basic American is the Premier Extended Care Bed. Engineered for durability and function, the Zenith features sealed ball bearings in the joints for smooth, quiet movement and Silver Solutions in the powder coating to provide antimicrobial surface protection. Beds are manufactured in the USA, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, which enables faster response to customers' needs.

The frame and deck have a capacity of 550 lbs., can be used for transport or locked in place with central pedal locks. The frame is powder coated using a silver solution to provide an antimicrobial surface and is designed with a grid surface and cross braces to prevent sagging. End board combinations are available with or without integrated controls. Optionally you can also add either a fixed or rotating patient assist bar. The mattress is made of high density foam with a convoluted topper for air flow and covered in a durable nylon/vinyl cover.
