No, I didn't recommend
I am extremely disappointed with this company. I ordered for my school a bunch of Agar plates. When I received them, nowhere in the box did it have instructions for the product. I ordered them near the end of October and the science teachers today went to use them to find they were all dried out. I was told when I called basically too bad so sad and that the instructions for handling are in the teacher resources section on the website. Nowhere in the box or my order form did it say to check this part of the website for instructions. I was also told that as teachers you should know how to handle agar. I have ordered agar before and it has lasted for a year on the shelf in our science lab. If you have any issues with this company they basically do not care. It's too bad because as the new science lead I will be ordering many resources- just not from this company anymore.

Yes, I recommend
I like to purchase prepared plates. It saves me a lot of time and aggravation of pouring my own or having the science teacher prepare them for me (I'm an agriculture teacher). I don't normally need to use all 10 plates. If I could order a smaller quantity, I'd certainly give this 5 stars.

This is an excellent product. The quality of the agar is good. I was able to heat the bottles in a water bath without any issues. Once melted, it pours really nicely! Worked well for my kids' experiment.

I purchased the 10 pack of prepared nutrient agar plates for a grade 11 science experiment. They were so convenient and allowed minimal prep before lab day. Will definitely purchase these again.

Facts About California Proposition 65
Ward’s Science is committed to your safety and compliance with California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. As of August 30, 2018 the reporting requirements of this act, more commonly known as Proposition 65 changed.
