Borosilicate glass with double walls completely silvered. Covered with plastic mesh for additional protection against mechanical shock or implosion. With styrofoam stopper.

Shatterproof and completely safe for short-term storage of ice water, dry ice-solvent, and liquid nitrogen; also for use as hot baths. Chemical-resistant HDPE double walls are filled with CFC-free urethane foam and withstand temperatures of -196° to +100°C. Vented, insulated polyethylene cover.

With molded-in ribs for added safety when held.

This 1000mL flask is has a full base with metal handle and a cylindrical wide mouth. The unsilvered glass of 47369-01 allows you to see what happens when you emerge an item into the liquid nitrogen. Features an aluminum housing and sturdy mesh cover to faciliate a firm grip and increased protection. All Pope Lab Grade Dewars are manufactured of borosilicate glass for liquid nitrogen service.
