This organism is commonly isolated from soil or water, and produces a pink or rose colored pigment.

Nymphoides aquatica. Dicot. The green tubercles that grow from this unique plant’s short roots store nutrients and look like bananas, giving the plant its common name. It is a floating plant that grows best in shallow water. It is easily reproduced from cuttings. Size: 4–6". Package of six.
