Are you a K-12 science educator who’s passionate about sparking curiosity and inspiring the next generation of scientists?
Share your creativity and classroom brilliance by submitting a hands-on science lesson plan or activity that explores this year’s Earth Science Week theme: “Energy Resources for Our Future.”
Whether you teach Earth science, chemistry, physics, environmental science, or any science subject where energy is explored, this is your chance to shine!
What to Submit
Create and submit a lesson plan or classroom activity that:
- Aligns with the 2025 Earth Science Week theme: “Energy Resources for Our Future”
- Utilizes one or more of the following hands-on materials:
- Rock, mineral, or fossil sample(s)
- Earth science model (e.g., plate tectonics, Earth layers)
- Maps (topographic, geologic, etc.)
- Fuel cell
- Weather station or components (e.g., rain gauge)
- Alternative energy materials or models (e.g., solar cell, wind turbine)
Submission Must Use our official Lesson Plan Template to format your submission.
Why Enter?
Three winners will each receive:
