Hydrometer jars are made of borosilicate glass and feature a beaded rim with a circular base.

All hydrometer jars are sized properly to eliminate surface tension effects that lead to inaccurate readings. Models 76546-096 have a graduation line at 1000 ml for precise filling and is designed for use as a sedimentation cylinder.
