Who’s at Risk of Cardiac Attack?

Using a simple procedure to determine a cholesterol level plus five different samples of WARD’S Simulated Blood, your class learns about the relationship between cholesterol and cardiac disease in complete safety. Using test strips, students measure the cholesterol levels of five “individuals” before and after a cholesterol reduction program. From these results, students will see the importance of HDL and LDL cholesterol and their relationship to diet. The kit contains all materials necessary for six setups, a teacher’s guide, and student copymaster.
