These various blood samples can be used to study the osmotic properties of blood cells, as well as for other basic hematology studies, or to make your own microbiological blood agar.
Ordering information: Our blood samples are only sold to accredited colleges and laboratories. These 100mL blood samples are collected aseptically from healthy donor animals. The blood is defibrinated mechanically without the addition of anticoagulants. Each lot is inspected for various physical characteristics and tested for hematocrit levels and presence of bioburden prior to release. Test summary is available upon request, please make note of your lot-code before calling customer service. Shelf life: Stable for up to three (3) weeks from bleed date under recommended storage (2-8°C). The actual period of suitability for use may be longer or shorter according to the specific application.
Delivery information: Specimens will ship via overnight for delivery. Please specify a delivery date during checkout. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery for Horse Blood, or for large orders.
