Immunology and Evolution Experiment Kit

This kit teaches the student how to determine the evolutionary closeness of organisms based on antigen-antibody blood analysis.
Immunological comparisions (homology) are perhaps the most fascinating of the five methods by which organisms are classified.

With use of synthetic bood servums, students have the opportunity to see textbook theory come alive in a dramatic lab exercise. As students observe the immunological differences, they identify various animals' relationships to humans.

With this kit, up to 30 students have the opportunity to learn first-hand about relationships among organisms, common ancestry, even the identification of blood from unkown sources and techniques of blood immunology.
