That makes daily checks, shift handoffs, and weekend review easier without relying on reading-only glass thermometers.

Within the family, bottle-probe versions use a glycol-filled sensor to better represent stored liquid temperature and limit rapid swings from brief door openings; the non-toxic solution is GRAS generally recognized as safe by the US FDA. A bullet-probe option is available when direct monitoring of liquids, air/gas, semisolids, water baths, or refrigerators better fits the application.

User-set high and low alarms, minimum/maximum memory, and a Traceable certificate help support documented temperature control programs. The certificate is issued from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA and indicates traceability to NIST standards; bottle-sensor models also use ten-foot micro-thin cable designed to pass through refrigerator or freezer doors.
