The Penn-Plax® Small World Filter delivers efficient and reliable filtration for aquariums and habitats up to 5 gallons. Designed to fit a wide variety of tanks, including Small World, New World, Betta World, and other standard tanks, this compact filter mounts securely to glass, acrylic, or plastic surfaces. Its advanced media cartridge combines scientifically formulated Carbon and Zeolite Crystals to rapidly remove ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, toxins, discoloration, and foul odors.

In addition, the included Bio Sponge offers physical filtration and promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria, supporting a healthy aquatic environment. For optimal performance, rinse the cartridge briefly before use and replace every 2 to 4 weeks. The SWF1 comes complete with a mounting bracket with suction cups, a disposable media cartridge, and a connector for standard air tubing (air pump sold separately), providing a compact, powerful, and easy-to-use filtration solution for small aquariums.
