This lightweight, portable unit has a compact footprint, low capital cost and minimizes cross contamination with the use of disposables. ZipThaw reduces operating costs via lower energy use, reduced maintenance, less labor and almost no blood product waste. Each device has two chambers which work independently to thaw a bag of frozen plasma. ZipThaw helps accelerate throughput: Each chamber works independently so you can continuously melt and thaw specimens. Provides precise temperature display with alarm that alerts shut off and each thaw is tracked on a hard drive with data to export later.

Accessories information: ZipThaw uses a disposable, durable leak proof sleeve that eliminates concerns for broken bags. Each sleeve can be used up to 8 times and contains technology that enables consistent temperature control throughout the thawing process. ZipSleeve is a disposable protective layer with sensors. It works with ZipThaw to continuously monitor and report your specimen’s temperature. ZipSleeve ensures cleanliness and helps to eliminate the possibility of cross contamination.
