This classic item is a great demonstration to illustrate wave properties. Holding the spring vertically demonstrates longitudinal waves when oscillated up and down. When two people hold each end and move one end up and down this visualizes a transverse wave. Made from PVC plastic. Can safely stretch up to 8'.
