Two glow-in-the-dark reactions occur in turn: one that is bright and quick, and another that is dull and slow. The oscillation between these reactions looks like a firefly on a summer night! There are enough materials to perform this demonstration three times.
Ordering information: Required but not included: 2 L Beaker, magnetic stir bar, hot plate stirrer, thermometer.
Delivery information: Kit includes: 3× Luminol-Thiocyanate solution, 900 ml; 3× Copper sulfate solution, 100 ml; 3× Hydrogen peroxide, 30%, 30 ml.
