They work with bell jars and vacuum pumps, and no messy vacuum wax is needed. The handy plate features a 50 mm center hole, safety screw plug, and stopcock with hose nipple for vacuum tubing of 1/4" ID.
The top plate measures 11" in diameter. It's made of cast iron.
