Demonstrate the wave patterns that create constructive and destructive interference using this large, physical model of Young's Double Slit experiment. Built to scale 20,000 times larger than the actual experimental conditions of a 600 nm HeNe laser illuminating a slit of either 4.5 or 2.25 microns, this apparatus allows calculations to be made for this classical investigation. No lasers or ripple tanks needed for this model - a perfect lab station or lecture aid.
