Take an Ocean Voyage Without Leaving Your Classroom
Students analyze the chloride content of seawater by performing titrations using the precipiometric method. The included samples are from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, as well as from the Gulf of Mexico. Water from a local source can be analyzed as well. With the included materials, each titration can be repeated three times. It comes with enough materials for 12 setups, student data sheets, and instructional booklet.
