In this fun activity, students are challenged to balance chemical equations, perform mole calculations, determine limiting reagents, and understand stoichiometry.

This activity uses chemistry to demonstrate how polymers form by combining two solutions. Students will try different amounts to create slime in a mess-proof way. The kit contains enough materials for 30 demonstrations. The activity requires 40 minutes.

Ordering information: This kit includes Polyvinyl alcohol, sodium borate solution, plastic bags, and instructions. Not included is food coloring and graduated cylinders.
