Engage your students with this imaginative activity that allows you to pour a beautiful rainbow down the inside of your Ward's® Chemistry Demonstration tube. A concentrated solution of sodium carbonate will be added to a dilute solution of hydrochloric acid and universal indicator. You can then teach density, solubility, migration of ions, and pH as the dense solution travels down the tube. A glass demonstration tube is required and sold separately.

Ordering information: Includes Sodium Carbonate, Hydrochloric Acid, Universal Indicator, and Instructions. Required but Not Provided are Glass Demonstration Tube, and General Glassware.
