This microfuge features forced-air ventilation to ensure that specimens, rotor, and motor stay cool, even during extended runs. The easy-load rotor lets users load tubes vertically, yet spins in a 45° position. The unit slows down from maximum RPM to zero in approximately 20 seconds, and a safety switch instantly cuts power when the hinged lid is lifted. The large, clear polycarbonate cover provides complete rotor visibility. Force: 6,238 x g.
