The sidearm of the 125 ml flask is located approximately 137 mm from the bottom of the flask as required in ASTM E1405 and can be used in ASTM Tests D86 and D447. This size has a heavy-duty neck.
The sidearm on the 250 ml size is placed 77 mm below the top of the neck at a 75° angle and can be used with thermometers calibrated for 76 mm immersion.
