The board illustrates the combined resistances of wires in series or in parallel and how the resistance of a conductor varies with changes in length, diameter, and material.

It consists of four strands of wire (No. 30 nickel-silver, No. 24 nickel-silver, No. 30 iron, and No. 30 copper) mounted on a sheet-metal base. Each wire is 1 m long and attached to binding posts. The provided instructions include suggestions for experiments.

Ordering information: This board includes instructions. It requires a regulated DC power supply and a multimeter with a resistance measurement, sold separately.
