The simplified test procedures included with this outfit provide 20, 50, or 100 tests for each soil nutrient, with accurate results in minutes using easy-to-prepare soil extracts. A digital colorimeter will perform 30 different tests on water and soil and then instantly analyze color reactions with a percent transmittance readout, eliminating the guesswork of visual color comparisons. Plus, special calibration charts convert readings to ppm or lbs./acre for each nutrient. Test factors include calcium, chloride, copper, iron, manganese, magnesium, nitrogen (three forms), pH (0–14), phosphorus, potassium, dissolved salts, sulfates, and zinc.
