Herbarium Cabinet

Herbarium specimen cabinets are designed for the proper and permanent protective storage of botanical specimens.

• Outer and inner cases are fabricated from cold rolled highest quality furniture steel, free from all rust and scale

This rugged, welded, double-walled steel cabinet has twelve inner compartments that are larger than standard shelving in order to accommodate over-sized herbarium sheets with ease. The cabinet also features a powder-paint finish and a unique “lift-off” door that’s quickly removed from its hinges, allows to easily move several drawers at once. The door also features an insect-proof elastomeric seal for airtight storage, a locking handle, and a chrome label holder. Cabinet measures 29.15W×18.8D×40" H, shelves are 12.6W×17.5D×6" H, weight: 148 lbs.
