Three Separate Models Provide Comprehensive Understanding

For studies of the human heart and anatomy, these half-size models are an ideal teaching aid. A healthy heart model is provided for base understanding and comparison. All structures of the normal heart are shown in the other two diseased heart models as well, however the diseased models show the characteristic effects of the unique pathology on the heart’s common structures. The Myocardial Infarction Model demonstrates a partially healed, thinned, and discolored heart in five infarcted areas, including a thrombus in the apex of the heart. The Congestive Heart Failure Model reveals a result of hypertension. The left ventricle hypertrophy and the correspondingly enlarged and distorted shape of the heart is shown both internally and externally.
