Halobacterium Agar

For cultivation of halophilic bacilli.

This set contains 2 tubes of Halobacterium Broth and 10 tubes of Halobacterium Agar.

Halophilic organisms like this one require a growth medium with a high salt content. As such, salt may be seen to precipitate out of the medium. This is not an indication of contamination or otherwise poor quality.
