The new Spark Timer, Model A-2 offers high performance in a compact design. This versatile instrument works well in a vertical position for the Falling Bodies Experiments. The recording needle is immediately raised when the timer is turned off to allow easy insertion or removal of the recording tape. The 10 Hz setting allows for clear printed results, even for the relatively slow moving dynamic carts.

The blinking LED and sound signal indicates that the timer in 'ON'. For clarity of measurement, the discharge needle (which is fully adjustable for greater accuracy) leaves a double dot at each point and a bold double dot at every 6th point as the 10 Hz interval delimiter. This unit comes with a self-storing cord and a free roll of spark recording tape. This timer operates on a standard line voltage of 110 AC, 50/60 Hz.
