Multipurpose stirring rods with one spade end and one button end. Great for stirring, scooping, circulating and crushing. Each rod measures 6 mm in diameter. The spade end of the rod measures approximately 15 mm long and wide, and the button end measures approximately 10 mm in diameter. Autoclavable, with superior chemical durability. Low temperature gradient - can withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks.

Eisco Labs borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances:
Strain point: 515 °C
Annealing point: 565 °C
Softening point: 820 °C
