Perfect for all but the largest model rockets, the Porta pad II launch system is portable, durable, and easy to use for beginners and experts alike.

The Porta pad II tripod launch pad comes complete with a blast deflector and standoff, two-piece ¹/₈". launch rod, and safety cap. The Porta pad II can accommodate a ³/₁₆". Maxi launch rod (not included).

The AA-battery powered electron beam launch controller provides the electric current needed to ignite your Estes model rocket engines, while keeping young rocketeers at a safe distance. A safety key lockout system ensures that electricity cannot flow while attaching and adjusting the leads to the Estes STARTECH engine starter (igniter).

Rocketeers should always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and carefully ensure that all personel are outside the 17' launch radius before inserting the key and pushing the launch button.
