Chain Clamp

This apparatus is useful for holding objects that are too large for standard clamps, such as glass distillation columns and odd-shaped glassware. Chain and support band are made of strong chrome-plated brass, and the support rod is constructed of stainless steel. Chain links bend to conform to the shape of the object being held. The tension spring locks chain links in place to firmly hold objects. Chain is 21" long and can be adjusted to support an apparatus from 2 to 6.5" in diameter. Support rod is 0.46" in diameter with a length of 8.5".
