This instrument is an enhanced version of United Scientific's popular Intermediate Spectrometer (SPECT02.) Its larger 30 mm diameter optics give brighter line images and make precise measurements easier. The optical focusing system has also been refined and the instrument retains the same premium features as the earlier version, including the built-in illuminated autocollimator for fast set up, 17.8 cm diameter divided circle, double-ended vernier reading to 1' resolution, and 7 cm diameter rotatable and height-adjusting prism table to accommodate various accessories.
