These rugged, compact and reliable units are ideal for educational laboratories, and can heat up to 1 L of water.
- 5×5" square aluminum top plate
- Fixed 375 °C temperature
- 1000 ml capacity
- Boil 300 ml of water in 16 minutes
Durable cast aluminum top plate will not chip or crack, and provides a uniform heating surface. Features an illuminated rocker switch to activate hot plate function. The bi-metallic thermostat offers reliable temperature control, and the powerful heater reaches maximum temperature in minutes. A built-in support rod holder with locking knob accepts an optional support rod and clamp kit. Optional support plate allows hotplate to be mounted to lab frames or ring stands.
Corresponding magnetic hotplate stirrers (heating and stirring 470329-996 and 470330-712) or magnetic stirrers (stirring only 470329-998 and 470330-714) with ceramic plates are also available.
