Reverse-transcription PCR (RT-PCR) is the gold standard for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 due to the sensitivity, specificity, and feasibility of the test.
Ordering information: Materials required but not included: DNA Electrophoresis, Thermal Cycler, Micropipettes: 5- to 50 µl, UV or Blue Light Transilluminator, White Light Box (optional - use if staining with FlashBlue™), Microcentrifuge and microwave or hot plate.
