Taking blood pressure can be challenging for someone not familiar with the process. Digital monitors are a popular way for students to accurately take readings. The 6012N is a great tool for an individual to take their own blood pressure. The cuff has a D-ring guide, allowing for one handed operation. A sizing guide, as well as an arterial guide are printed directly on the cuff to help get the best readings. The inflation bulb has a manual air release, and the student is guided through inflation and deflation processes with the digital readout. Readings are displayed on a large screen for easy viewing. The display shows systolic and diastolic pressures, as well as pulse and an irregular heartbeat indicator. When not in use the unit shuts itself off automatically to conserve battery life.
