Simple and elegant, the biOrb® LIFE series of Aquaria combine a simple basic form, with the strength of acrylic construction. Like all biOrbs, the biOrb® LIFE series uses ceramic media to provide biological filtration which has a surface area equivalent to the size of a soccer field. Any excess waste is collected and held in a filter cartridge at the base of the biOrb®. To maintain your biOrb® LIFE all you need to do is simply replace the filter cartridge every four weeks and change a third of the water. The biOrb® LIFE series uses the same proven filtration system as the rest of the biOrb® range.

Two lighting options are available. The biOrb® LIFE is equipped with either an intelligent LED, or multi-color remote control LED lighting that can be lit by any of the sixteen pre-set colors. You can relax as the aquarium gently fades through the entire spectrum of colors or select the day and night setting for a more natural scene. You can also control the brightness, making these controls a joy to use. For your peace of mind, the lights and air pump are low voltage. The aquarium itself is made from acrylic which is ten times stronger than glass and is backed by a 2 year warranty.

The 4 Gallon (LIFE 15) is perfect for small fish or shrimp. The 8 Gallon (LIFE 30) works great for a cold-water tank. The 12 Gallon (LIFE 45) gives you enough volume to keep a small variety of fish in a reasonable footprint. Finally the large 16 Gallon (LIFE 60) gives you the most room for a larger variety of fish, and plenty of room for decorations. All LIFE series Aquaria include everything you need to set up your aquaria for the first time: Tank, 12 V transformer, air pump and air stone, ceramic media, filter cartridge, water conditioner and light. You just need to add the water and fish!

Ordering information: Intelligent LED is only available with LIFE 15 models, or as an additional purchase. Images contain material that is not included with each aquaria, decorations are sold separately. An accessory heater is available for warm water applications.
