Conductometer, 6 Rod

Conductometer with variety of metals to demonstrate heat conductance by various metals.

• Conductometer is a total of 42 cm long with 9 cm long sample bars
• Bars are made of zinc, aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, iron
• Place wax in the end of each bar or place a temperature sensor on each bar and heat the center
• Recommended for use with the Neulog NUL-203 temperature sensor and bunsen burner CH0993NG

Different metals conduct heat at different rates due to their atomic structure. With this demonstration students either clip temperature sensors to each metal bar, or place wax in the end of the bar to see which bar heats up the quickest when the center of the apparatus is held over and open flame
