No, I didn't recommend
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this current specimen offering. I needed new samples of metaconglomerate for a different school. At another school, I had samples of metaconglomerate from Ward's and the samples were excellent. The batch I was sent contained clasts and a matrix that were (in my opinion) too heavily metamorphosed, making it difficult for students to discern the elongated clasts. I called Ward's and spoke with their geologist who graciously offered to hand pick different samples and send them to me at no additional cost. I am grateful for Ward's excellent customer service, but unfortunately, the both batches of samples that I received could be replaced with better specimens.
