The Protector® Echo™ Floor-Mounted Filtered Fume Hood combines the trusted filtration of Erlab’s Neutrodine® Unisorb Filter with the quality, innovation and energy-efficient fume hood designs of Labconco's unparalleled engineering to create an adaptable fully-featured floor-mount fume hood that does not require ducting for easy installation. The Protector® Echo™ Floor-Mounted Filtered Fume Hood has a by-pass design and features many defining characteristics of Labconco Protector Hoods including the Eco-Foil™ Air Foil with Clean-Sweep openings, fiberglass-reinforced panel liner, fully closing sash, electrical receptacles and service fixtures.

The Neutrodine Unisorb Filter has been tested and found efficient on over 500 chemicals, and may last two years or more before requiring replacement. Because these filters allow the simultaneous handling of solvents, acids and bases, the Protector Echo may be used for a broad range of general chemistry fume hood applications. Plus, the use of these filters offers an eco-friendly solution to exhausting chemicals into the atmosphere. Options include acid or formaldehyde sensors or HEPA only for applications requiring particulate protection.

GFH Filtration Technology allows the Protector Echo Floor-Mounted Filtered Fume Hood to perform well beyond the SEFA 9-2010 DH III definition. User safety is maintained through numerous built-in features that constantly monitor and prevent unsafe conditions without relying on user practices or modifications. These safeguards include a sensor package that detects primary filter breakthrough of solvent and acid fumes, laboratory air quality, sash position and temperature, audio/visual alarms, and intelligent filter indication of type and status to prevent saturated filters being re-installed. The control box is conveniently located on the front of the hood and can be controlled by an app on the user’s phone.

Constructed with a glacier white powder-coated steel exterior and a chemical-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced, composite panel liner. Two tempered safety glass vertical-rising sashes with powder-coated aluminum sash handles and powder-coated steel sash tracks with Clean-Sweep slots. Upper sash handle also includes Clean-Sweep openings. Sash stop is 52" from the floor. 73.5" (187 cm) high sightline from the floor to the header panel and 63.6" (162 cm) loading height.

Accessories information: Each hood requires Neutrodine Unisorb Filters (sold separately). The number of filters needed depends on the hood's width. Optional accessories include HEPA Filter and prefilters.

Caution: The Lifetime Payback Questionnaire (LPQ) form is required for all Protector Airo Filtered Fume Hood orders. It must be completed in full, submitted, reviewed, and approved before an order can be processed. Lead times do not start until the LPQ is approved. Shipping Terms
All orders will incur shipping and handling fees added to the total order value. Shipping charges may vary based on the nature of the product, total weight, destination, delivery date, and delivery method. Orders will ship via UPS carrier at current published rates. Shipping costs are estimated at the time of online order. Orders required to ship by motor freight may incur an additional shipping charge. All orders $24.99 or less (pre-tax) will be subject to an additional $7.00 handling fee. Our shipping terms are FOB shipping point unless otherwise specified. Chemical & Hazardous Shipping Fee
Materials classified as hazardous by the D.O.T. may include, but are not limited to, chemicals, microbiological specimens, or activity kits containing these materials. If your order contains an item classified as hazardous by the D.O.T., a minimum $27.50 fee will be charged for each order. Orders for chemicals and hazardous materials will only be accepted from educational and research institutions; we will not ship chemicals to individuals. Select chemicals are now available with Poison Packs to enable faster shipping. Previously, these chemicals shipped freight within 7-14 days and incurred a $70.00 freight shipping charge. Now, added Poison Packs enable your chemicals to ship via UPS to arrive within 3-4 days, eliminating the $70 freight charge. Live Materials Delivery & Guarantee
All micro life cultures will be delivered to you within two business days when order is placed before 12:00 om EST. (demonstration plates, microalgae, Nostoc excluded). Your specimens or cultures will arrive in good condition or we will send a free replacement as soon as the next day. Requesting a delivery date of Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday ensures healthy delivery of your live specimens.
 
Bacteria and Pathogens
Shipping pathogens and bacterial cultures to high schools and individuals is prohibited by the Federal Health Service. State or local authorities may require a permit before we can ship pathogens to you. Colleges and universities are permitted to order pathogens and bacterial cultures through an institutional purchase order only.
