Measuring the Zeeman splitting of red cadmium.
- Includes all major components
- Observe the Cadmium line
In this experiment the Zeeman splitting of the red cadmium line is measured as a function of the magnetic field B. The energy interval of the triplet components is used to calculate the specific electron charge.
