Nunc® MicroWell™ 96-Well Plates, Sterile, Thermo Scientific

These sterile, polystyrene plates are ideal for bacteriology, serology, molecular biology, and other laboratory applications

Plates have a standard format, which makes them compatible with plate washers and readers. V-bottom and U-bottom plates allow pelleting or settling of cells for gentle concentration and sample retrieval. Flat-bottom wells can be easily examined microscopically.

The wells have raised rims to reduce risk of cross-contamination. Lids have rings to control condensation during incubation. The beveled corners on the plates and lids prevent accidental reversal of the lid onto the plate. Wells are alphanumerically-labeled for easy identification. They stack conveniently and securely, with or without lids. Clone selection and replication can be performed using these plates with a few simple movements using a transferable solid phase (TSP) replicator.

Used for dilutions and general storage.
