Anti-SUZ12 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-SUZ12 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

A chromosomal aberration involving SUZ12 may be a cause of endometrial stromal tumors. Translocation t (7;17) (p15;q21) with JAZF1 generates the JAZF1-SUZ12 oncogene consisting of the N-terminus part of JAZF1 and the C-terminus part of SUZ12. It is frequently found in all cases of endometrial stromal tumors, except in endometrial stromal sarcomas, where it is rarer. This zinc finger gene has been identified at the breakpoints of a recurrent chromosomal translocation reported in endometrial stromal sarcoma. Recombination of these breakpoints results in the fusion of this gene and JAZF1. The protein encoded by this gene contains a zinc finger domain in the C terminus of the coding region. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined. Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the publications that are available for this gene. Anti-QPCT Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-QPCT Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

QPCT is responsible for the biosynthesis of pyroglutamyl peptides. QPCT has a bias against acidic and tryptophan residues adjacent to the N-terminal glutaminyl residue and a lack of importance of chain length after the second residue. It also catalyzes N-terminal pyroglutamate formation. In vitro, catalyzes pyroglutamate formation of N-terminally truncated form of APP amyloid-beta peptides [Glu-3]-beta-amyloid. QPCT may be involved in the N-terminal pyroglutamate formation of several amyloid-related plaque-forming peptides. This gene encodes human pituitary glutaminyl cyclase, which is responsible for the presence of pyroglutamyl residues in many neuroendocrine peptides. The amino acid sequence of this enzyme is 86% identical to that of bovine glutaminyl cyclase. Anti-RING1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-RING1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Constitutes one of the E3 ubiquitin-protein ligases that mediate monoubiquitination of 'Lys-119' of histone H2A, thereby playing a central role in histone code and gene regulation. H2A 'Lys-119' ubiquitination gives a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional repression and participates in X chromosome inactivation of female mammals. Essential component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1 complex, a complex required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, throughout development. PcG PRC1 complex act via chromatin remodeling and modification of histones, rendering chromatin heritably changed in its expressibility. Compared to RNF2/RING2, it does not have the main E3 ubiquitin ligase activity on histone H2A, and it may rather act as a modulator of RNF2/RING2 activity.

Anti-TUBA3C Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-TUBA3C Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Alpha-tubulin Antibody: Alpha-tubulin belongs to the tubulin superfamily, which is composed of six distinct families. Along with beta-tubulins, alpha-tubulins are the major components of microtubules. These microtubules are involved in a wide variety of cellular activities ranging from mitosis and transport events to cell movement and the maintenance of cell shape. Alpha- and beta-tubulin dimers are assembled to 13 protofilaments that form a microtubule of 22-nm diameter. Tyrosine ligase adds a C-terminal tyrosine to monomeric alpha-tubulin. Assembled microtubules can again be detyrosinated by a cytoskeleton-associated carboxypeptidase. Another post-translational modification of detyrosinated alpha-tubulin is C-terminal polyglutamylation, which is characteristic of microtubules in neuronal cells and the mitotic spindle. Like GAPDH and beta-Actin, this antibody makes an excellent loading control in immunoblots.

Anti-ORAI3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ORAI3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Recognizes human ORAI3, also known as Transmembrane protein 142C (TMEM142C), a 31.5 kDa multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the ORAI family. Antigen stimulation of immune cells triggers Ca2+ entry through Ca2+ release-activated Ca2+ (CRAC) channels. CRAC channels are the main pathway for Ca2+ influx in T-cells and promote the immune response to pathogens by activating the transcription factor NFAT. ORAI3 is one of two mammalian homologs of ORAI1, a four- transmembrane spanning protein that is an essential component of CRAC channels. ORAI3, along with ORAI1 and ORAI2, functions as a Ca2+ plasma membrane channel that is gated through interactions with STIM1, the store-activated endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ sensor. Studies indicate that ORAI3 channels undergo a lesser degree of depotentiation than ORAI1 or ORAI2. Is not expected to cross react with either ORAI1 or ORAI2.

Anti-CCNT1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-CCNT1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

CCNT1 Antibody: Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases and exhibit distinct expression and degradation patterns which contribute to the temporal coordination of each mitotic event. The cyclin-T1 protein (CCNT1) belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle. CCNT1 tightly associates with CDK9 kinase, and was found to be a major subunit of the transcription elongation factor p-TEFb. The kinase complex containing CCNT1 and the elongation factor can interact with, and act as a cofactor of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) Tat protein, and was shown to be both necessary and sufficient for full activation of viral transcription. CCNT1 and its kinase partner were also found to be involved in the phosphorylation and regulation of the carboxy-terminal domain (CTD) of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit.

Anti-SHC1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-SHC1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Signaling adapter that couples activated growth factor receptors to signaling pathway. Isoform p46Shc and isoform p52Shc, once phosphorylated, couple activated receptor tyrosine kinases to Ras via the recruitment of the GRB2/SOS complex and are implicated in the cytoplasmic propagation of mitogenic signals. Isoform p46Shc and isoform p52Shc may thus function as initiators of the Ras signaling cascade in various non-neuronal systems. Isoform p66Shc does not mediate Ras activation, but is involved in signal transduction pathways that regulate the cellular response to oxidative stress and life span. Isoform p66Shc acts as a downstream target of the tumor suppressor p53 and is indispensable for the ability of stress-activated p53 to induce elevation of intracellular oxidants, cytochrome c release and apoptosis. The expression of isoform p66Shc has been correlated with life span

Anti-IL2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Biotin)

Anti-IL2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Biotin)

Supplier: Prosci

Interleukin 2 (IL2) is a secreted cytokine that is important for the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes. The receptor of this cytokine is a heterotrimeric protein complex whose gamma chain is also shared by interleukin 4 (IL4) and interleukin 7 (IL7). The expression of this gene in mature thymocytes is monoallelic, which represents an unusual regulatory mode for controlling the precise expression of a single gene. The targeted disruption of a similar gene in mice leads to ulcerative colitis like disease, which suggests an essential role of this gene in the immune response to antigenic stimuli. IL2 has been shown to have antitumor effects in some studies. This is probably mediated by cytotoxic effector cells.
