Designed for classroom use, these lightweight hoods feature an epoxy-coated aluminum frame with tempered safety glass front sash, sides, rear baffle, and top.

This self-contained hood unit comes equipped with an integral exhaust blower and carbon filter, which do not require duct or venting to the outside. Small quantities of solvents, acids, and odors are quickly absorbed in an activated carbon filter which recirculates air back into the room, thus avoiding installation and energy cost. Hood is ideal for laboratories that require multiple locations or where space is limited. Equipped with 115V exhaust blower, vapor proof light switch, and power cord, unit is fully assembled. Filters, worksurface, and base stands are available separately.
