Anti-TLR5 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy5.5®)

Supplier: Bioss

Luciferase from the firefly has become one of the more widely used reporter proteins for the study of gene expression. Luciferase catalyzes a bioluminescent reaction which requires the substrate luciferin as well as Mg2+ and ATP. Mixing these reagents with the cell extract containing luciferase, results in a flash of light that decays rapidly. This light can be detected by a luminometer. The total light emission is proportional to the luciferase activity of the sample.

Human Recombinant LIF (from E. coli)

Supplier: Peprotech

LIF is a pleiotrophic factor produced by multiple cell types, including T cells, myelomonocytic lineages, fibroblasts, liver, heart and melanoma. LIF promotes long-term maintenance of embryonic stem cells by suppressing spontaneous differentiation. Other activities include the stimulation of acute phase protein synthesis by hepatocytes, stimulation of differentiation of cholinergic nerves, and suppression of adipogenesis by inhibiting the lipoprotein lipase in adipocytes. While human LIF is active on mouse cells and is widely used in the maintenance of murine ESC to prevent spontaneous differentiation, mouse LIF is not active on human cells due to its inability to bind to the human LIF receptor. Recombinant Human LIF is a 19.6 kDa protein containing 180 amino acids residues, including three disulfide bonds. Manufactured using all Animal-Free reagents.

10-Acetyl-3,7-dihydroxyphenoxazine ≥98% (by HPLC)

Supplier: Adipogen

10-acetyl-3,7-dihydroxyphenoxazin (Amplex Red) is a non-fluorescent, highly sensitive and stable probe for H2O2. Amplex Red is an applicable as a fluorogenic substrate for peroxidase. In the presence of horseradish peroxidase (HRP), the Amplex Red reagent reacts in a 1:1 stechiometry with H2O2 to produce highly fluorescent resorufin. Because H2O2 is produced in many different enzymatic reactions, the Amplex Red reagent allows researchers to detect the activity of many different enzymes. 10-acetyl-3,7-dihydroxyphenoxazin has absorption and fluorescence emission maxima of approximately 563 nm and 587 nm, respectively, and because its extinction coefficient is high (54,000 cm-1M-1), the assay can be performed either fluorometrically or spectrophotometrically.

Human Recombinant IL3 (from E. coli)

Supplier: Peprotech

IL-3 is a hematopoietic growth factor that promotes the survival, differentiation and proliferation of committed progenitor cells of the megakaryocyte, granulocyte-macrophage, erythroid, eosinophil, basophil and mast cell lineages.  Produced by T cells, mast cells and eosinophils, IL-3 enhances thrombopoiesis, phagocytosis, and antibody-mediated cellular cytotoxicity.  Its ability to activate monocytes suggests that IL-3 may have additional immunoregulatory roles.  Many of the IL-3 activities depend upon co-stimulation with other cytokines.  IL-3 is a species-specific, variably glycosylated cytokine.  Recombinant Human IL-3 is a 15.0 kDa globular protein containing 133 amino acid residues.Manufactured using all Animal-Free reagents.

Mouse Recombinant MyI9 (from E. coli)

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

LC20 is the myosin light chain that may regulate muscle contraction by modulating the ATPase activity of myosin heads (1). LC20 protein binds calcium and is activated by myosin light chain kinase. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for LC20 and the deduced 172-amino acid protein is highly conserved, with only 3 differences between the human and chicken proteins. Light chain phosphorylation causes the folded monomeric form of myosin to extend and assemble into filaments. This observation established the involvement of the LC20 in conformational transitions of smooth muscle myosin (2). LC20 Protein is ideal for investigators involved in Signaling Reagents, Protein Substrates, and Cardiovascular Disease research.

Human Recombinant IGFBP3 (from E. coli)

Supplier: Peprotech

IGF-BP3 is a 30 kDa, cysteine-rich secreted protein.  It is the major IGF binding protein present in the plasma of human and animals, and it is also found in ?-granules of platelets.  In addition to its ability to modulate the activity of IGF-I and IGF-II, IGF-BP3 exerts inhibitory effects on follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) activity.  Decreased plasma levels of IGF-BP3 often results in dwarfism, whereas elevated levels of IGF-BP3 may lead to acromegaly.  The expression of IGF-BP3 in fibroblasts is stimulated by mitogenic growth factors, such as Bombesin, Vasopressin, PDGF, and EGF.  Recombinant Human IGF-BP3 is a 28.8 kDa protein consisting of 264 amino acid residues.Manufactured using all Animal-Free reagents.

SMCC (N-Succinimidyl 4-(N-Maleimidomethyl)cyclohexanecarboxylate) ≥85%

SMCC (N-Succinimidyl 4-(N-Maleimidomethyl)cyclohexanecarboxylate) ≥85%

Supplier: AAT Bioquest

SMCC is a non-cleavable and membrane permeable crosslinker with a spacer arm of 8.3 Å. It contains an amine-reactive succinimidyl ester (SE) and a sulfhydryl-reactive maleimide group. NHS esters react with primary amines at pH 7 to 9 to form stable amide bonds. Maleimides react with sulfhydryl groups at pH 6.5 to 7.5 to form stable thioether bonds. The SE group of SMCC is reacted with lysine residues on the carrier protein, converting them to reactive maleimides. SMCC is a reagent that is widely used for generating stable maleimide-activated carrier proteins that can spontaneously react with sulfhydryls. Alternatively these relatively stable maleimide-activated intermediates may be lyophilized and stored for later conjugation to a hapten.

DAF-2 ≥95% (by HPLC)

Supplier: Adipogen

DAF-2 is highly sensitive reagent for NO detection and determination of nitric oxide synthase activity. DAF-2, however, remains essentially nonfluorescent until it reacts with the nitrosonium cation (produced by spontaneous oxidation of nitric oxide) to form a fluorescent heterocycle, which becomes trapped in the cell's cytoplasm. This sensitive fluorescent probe has been used to identify individual nitric oxide-producing neurons in brain slices, in mitochondria and in living plant cells. Spectral data: lambdaex 505nm; lambdaem 518nm in 0.1M Tris pH8.0.

Anti-S Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase))

Supplier: Bioss

Changes in the serine/threonine phosphorylation state of a protein in response to various external stimuli can have profound effects on cellular signal transduction, apoptosis and carcinogenesis. The reagents, including phosphorylated protein/peptides, antibodies against the phosphospecific amino acid, are important tools to explore the activation of serine, threonine or tyrosine containing proteins. An aberrant protein phosphorylation is a hallmark of human disease, and the enzymes, particularly protein kinases, which control protein phosphorylation are recognized as a major new drug target family.
