Monocot development is easily observed with this multi-specimen display mount. Development is staged from seed progressing to young plant with secondary roots and leaves. The specimens are embedded in a clear Bio-Plastic™ synthetic mounting material that resists scratching and breaking. Instructional illustration is included. The tray is divided into thirty-six 1¹/₂" square pots and each pot has its own drainage hole. The raised ridges on the bottom of the water tight tray keep roots above the water line for maximum air circulation and healthier root development.
