One Culture from Each of the Four Major Types

Brachionus sp. Examine these typical marine rotifers for a general study of their structure and feeding habits.The recommended food for marine rotifers is Dunaliella. Culture instructions are included.

Anodonta subobicularis.

Enchytraeus sp. Culturing this terrestrial Oligochaete quickly produces a large population for general study or a source of food for fish and amphibians. Culture instructions are included.

Aeolosoma sp. A small, freshwater Oligochaete, Aeolosoma is characterized by colorful oil droplets in its body. It’s easy to culture large quantities of this microscopic organism for use in regeneration experiments: Simply add hay and wheat grains to hay medium. Culture instructions are included. Size: 2–3 mm.

Useful in regeneration studies, these freshwater Oligochaetes are easy to handle and to culture.

Erpobdella obscura

These small marine crustaceans are supplied as adults, and measure approximately ¹/₄" in size at the time of shipment.
