Anti-YBX2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Germ cell specific Y-box binding protein (YBX2), a germ-cell-specific member of the Y-box family of DNA-/RNA-binding proteins, is a major constituent of messenger ribonucleoprotein particles (mRNPs) and involved in the regulation of the stability and/or translation of germ cell mRNAs. It is proposed to function as a coactivator of transcription in the nucleus and to stabilize and store maternal and paternal mRNAs in the cytoplasm. YBX2 binds to the Y-box consensus promoter element and is expressed in oocytes and testicular germ cells in the stage of spermatogonia to spermatocyte. Recent studies show that deletion of YBX2 leads to the disruption of both spermatogenesis and oogenesis.

Anti-VASH1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
VASH1 was originally identified as an endothelium-derived vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-inducible angiogenesis inhibitor that acts in a negative feedback manner. VASH1 mRNA is expressed brain, heart, kidney and placenta in the adult, with robust expression in various organs during embryonic development. VASH1 expression in tumor cells and tumor vasculature is silenced by methylation by increased expression of Zeste homolog 2 (EZH2). The increase of EZH2 expression is induced by VEGF stimulation, leading to poor clinical prognosis. Recombinant adenovirus expressing VASH prevented tumor angiogenesis and inhibited tumor growth, suggesting that it may be a potentially valuable antitumor therapy in the clinic.

Anti-TNFRSF14 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily members are defined by cysteine-rich domains in their extracellular regions that bind TNF-related ligands that share a common structural homology in their extracellular domain. TNFRSF14 was initially identified as the Herpesvirus entry mediator and upon binding to the herpes simplex virus (HSV) envelope glycoprotein D or either of its natural ligands LIGHT and lymphotoxin alpha (LT), activates the transcription factors NF-kB and AP-1. Activation of this signal transduction pathway in T cells stimulates T cell proliferation and cytokine production, leading to inflammation and enhanced CTL-mediated tumor immunity, suggesting that these proteins may be useful as potential targets for controlling cellular immune responses.

Anti-Lamp2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Autophagy, the process of bulk degradation of cellular proteins through an autophagosomic-lysosomal pathway is important for normal growth control and may be defective in tumor cells. It is involved in the preservation of cellular nutrients under starvation conditions as well as the normal turnover of cytosolic components and is negatively regulated by TOR (Target of rapamycin). LAMP-2, a highly glycosylated protein associated with the lysosome, has recently been shown to be important in autophagy as mice deficient in this protein failed to convert autophagic vacuoles into vacuoles leading to impaired degradation of long-lived proteins. This correlates with the finding that human LAMP-2 deficiency causing Danon's disease is associated with the accumulation of autophagic material in striated myocytes. LAMP-2 exists in multiple isoforms.

Anti-IFNB1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Type I Interferons (IFN-alpha/beta) are produced primarily in response to viral infection by "Natural IFN-producing cells" (IPCs) as part of the host immune response and can also inhibit the development of tumors. IFN-beta binding by its receptor results in the activation of the tyrosine kinases Jak1 and Tyk2 and phosphorylation of members of the STAT family of transcription factors, leading to the transcription and expression of the immune response genes. More recently, several members of the toll-like receptor (TLR) family were found to stimulate the production IFN-beta. IFN-beta is currently used clinically for treatment of tumors, infections and multiple sclerosis.

Anti-FAIM3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Apoptosis is an important process by which normal tissue homeostasis and function are maintained. One of the major signals that regulate this process is mediated by the activation of the Fas receptor by its ligand. This leads to the formation of a Fas-associated death domain (FADD)- containing death-inducing signaling complex and the activation of caspase-8, which in turn activates downstream effector caspases, such as caspase-3 and -7. Recent experiments have shown that overexpression of Toso, a novel regulator of Fas-induced apoptosis in lymphoid cells, in Jurkat cells as well as transgenic mice render these cells resistant to Fas-induced apoptosis but not to TRAIL-induced apoptosis. Furthermore, Toso was found to associate with FADD, suggesting that Toso functions by disrupting the formation of the death-inducing signaling complex.

Anti-TIMD4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
The T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain containing protein (TIM) family encodes cell surface receptors that are involved in the regulation of T helper (Th) -1 and -2 cell-mediated immunity. TIM-4, which is preferentially expressed on macrophages and dendritic cells, is the natural ligand of TIM-1, and this binding leads to T-cell expansion and cytokine production. Unlike other members of the TIM family, TIM-4 lacks a putative tyrosine phosphorylation signal sequence in its intracellular domain. The TIM-4 gene maps to a locus associated with predisposition to asthma in both mice and humans and with its connection to TIM-1-triggered Th2 responsiveness, may be considered as a candidate disease/predisposition gene for asthma.

Anti-LIF Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
LIF is a pleiotropic cytokine with roles in several different systems. It is involved in the induction of hematopoietic differentiation in normal and myeloid leukemia cells, induction of neuronal cell differentiation, regulator of mesenchymal to epithelial conversion during kidney development, and may also have a role in immune tolerance at the maternal-fetal interface. LIF was initially recognized by its ability to induce terminal differentiation of myeloid leukemic cells. It is a member of the IL-6 cytokine superfamily and can be highly glycosylated. LIF signaling is transduced through the LIF-R/gp130 receptor complex, leading to the phosphorylation and activation of the JAK/STAT pathway. Recent evidence shows that LIF inhibits cardiomyogenesis in embryonic stem cells via STAT3 activation.

Anti-MSI2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Musashi2 (MSI2) is an RNA-binding protein that is highly expressed in precursor cells in the ventricular and subventricular zones of the developing mammalian CNS. Like the related MSI1, MSI2 has been suggested to be involved stem cell production and maintenance. MSI2 is the predominant MSI protein in hematopoietic stem cells, and its knockdown leads to reduced engraftment and depletion in vivo. Expression levels of MSI2 are elevated in myeloid leukemia cells lines, and MSI2 appears to cooperate with BCR-ABL1 to induce an aggressive leukemia; the level of MSI2 directly correlates with decreased survival in patients. MSI2 negatively regulates the asymmetric cell fate determinant NUMB, suggesting that this signaling pathway may provide future targets for future therapies.

Anti-GPAM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase 1 (GPAT1), one of four known GPAT isoforms, is located on the mitochondrial outer membrane, allowing reciprocal regulation with carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1. It is thought to be critical for the development of hepatic steatosis; steatosis triggered by GPAT1 overexpression leads to hepatic and possibly peripheral insulin resistance. GPAT1 is transcriptionally upregulated by insulin and sterol regulatory element binding protein (SREBP-1) and downregulated by AMP-activated protein kinase. Mice deficient in GPAT1 exhibit decreased triacylglycerol (TAG) in cardiomyocytes even in high-fat diets, suggesting that GPAT1 contributes significantly to TAG accumulation in heart tissue during lipogenic or high fat diets. At least two isoforms of GPAT1 are known to exist.

Anti-MAP3K14 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB) is a ubiquitous transcription factor and an essential mediator of gene expression during activation of immune and inflammatory responses. NF-kB mediates the expression of a great variety of genes in response to extracellular stimuli including IL-1, TNFa, LPS and mitogens. A serine/threonine protein kinase which mediates NF-kB activation by IL-1, TNFa and CD95 was identified recently and designated NIK (for NF-kB inducing kinase). NIK is an activator of IkB kinase alpha and beta (IKKa and IKKb). Therefore, NIK is a key molecule in the NF-kB signaling pathway leading to the induction of a variety of gene expression in response to proinflammatory cytokines and bacteria products.

Anti-SLC39A1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
ZIP1, also known as ZIRTL (zinc-iron regulated transporter-like), is the first mammalian member of a family of divalent ion transporters. Zinc is an essential ion for cells and plays significant roles in the growth, development, and differentiation. ZIP1 expression is markedly downregulated in a number of cancerous tissues and is thought to function as a tumor suppressor gene in prostate cancer. More recent studies have shown that overexpression of ZIP1 and concomitant increased levels of intracellular zinc in PC-3 cells cause a significant inhibition of NF-kB, leading to down-regulation of the antiapoptotic protein Bcl-2, Bcl-XL, and the apoptosis inhibitor XIAP, reducing the malignant potential of prostate cancer cells in vitro and in vivo.

Anti-ZC3H12A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
ZC3H12A, also known as MCPIP, is an essential member of a family of novel CCCH-zinc finger proteins that regulate macrophage activation and may be involved in host immunity and inflammatory diseases. ZC3H12A has RNase activity that prevents some immune disorders by directly affecting the mRNA stability of interleukins such as IL-6 and IL12p40. Mice lacking the ZC3H12A gene suffered from severe anemia, and most dies within 12 weeks. Overexpression of ZC3H12A causes ER stress and induces a number of genes involved in apoptosis and autophagy, including JNK, PUMA, and beclin-1 in cardiac myoblasts, leading to cell death. ZC3H12A can also induce adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 pre-adipocytes in the absence of PPAPgamma, demonstrating the complex roles ZC3H12A plays.

Supplier: Prosci
B-cell CLL/lymphoma 10, also known as CLAP, Me10, CIPER, c-E10, CARMEN. Entrez Protein NP_003912. It is a protein containing a caspase recruitment domain (CARD). It plays an important role in apoptosis and activating NF-κB. The research suggested that it interacted with other CARD domain containing proteins including CARD9, 10, 11 and 14, which were thought to function as upstream regulators in NF-κB signaling. Bcl-10 is found to form a complex with MALT1 which encoded by another gene known to be translocated in MALT lymphoma. MALT1 and Bcl-10 are thought to synergize in the activation of NF-κB, and the deregulation of either of them may contribute to the same pathogenetic process that leads to the malignancy.
