Anti-ANO1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: DG1/447]
Supplier: Prosci
Expression of TMEM16A (DOG1) protein is elevated in the gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST’s), c-kit signaling-driven mesenchymal tumors of the GI tract. It is rarely expressed in other soft tissue tumors, which, due to appearance, may be difficult to diagnose. Immunoreactivity for TMEM16A has been reported in 97.8 percent of scorable GIST’s, including all c-kit negative GIST’s. Overexpression has been suggested to aid in the identification of GISTs, including Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor Alpha (PDGFR alpha) mutants that fail to express c-kit antigen. The overall sensitivity of TMEM16A and c-kit in GIST’s is nearly identical: 94.4% vs. 94.7%.

Anti-IGKC Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: L1C1]
Supplier: Prosci
This antibody is specific to the kappa light chain of immunoglobulin and shows no cross-reaction with lambda light chain or any of the five heavy chains. In mammals, the two light chains in an antibody are always identical, with only one type of light chain, kappa or lambda. In general, the ratio of Kappa to Lambda is 3:1. However, with the occurrence of multiple myeloma or other B-cell malignancies this ratio is disturbed. Antibody to the kappa light chain is reportedly useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is malignant.

Anti-PTPRC Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: SPM569]
Supplier: Prosci
CD45R, also designated CD45 and PTPRC, has been identified as a transmembrane glycoprotein, broadly expressed among hematopoietic cells. Multiple isoforms of CD45R are distributed throughout the immune system according to cell type. These isoforms arise because of alternative splicing of exons 4, 5, and 6. The corresponding protein domains are characterized by the binding of monoclonal antibodies specific for CD45RA (exon 4), CD45RB (exon 5), CD45RC (exon 6) and CD45RO (exons 4 to 6 spliced out). The variation in these isoforms is localized to the extracellular domain of CD45R, while the intracellular domain is conserved. CD45R functions as a phosphor-tyrosine phosphatase. Antibody to CD45 is useful in differential diagnosis of lymphoid tumors from non-hematopoietic undifferentiated neoplasms.

Anti-MSN Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: MSN/492]
Supplier: Prosci
Recognizes 78kDa moesin protein. Moesin, a member of the talin-4.1 superfamily, is a linking protein of the sub-membranous actin cytoskeleton. It is expressed in variable amounts in cells of different phenotypes such as macrophages, lymphocytes, fibroblastic, endothelial, epithelial, and neuronal cell lines but not in blood cells. The ERM proteins, ezrin, radixin, and moesin are involved in a variety of cellular functions, such as cell adhesion, migration, and the organization of cell surface structures, and are highly homologous, both in protein sequence and in functional activity, with merlin/schwannomin, a neurofibromatosis-2-associated tumor-suppressor protein. Cell lines of epithelial and mesothelial origin contain both moesin and radixin whereas cells of endothelial and lymphoid origin express moesin.

Anti-FBXO5 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: FBXP5]
Supplier: Prosci
Early Mitotic Inhibitor-1 regulates mitosis by inhibiting the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC). It is a conserved F box protein containing a zinc-binding region essential for APC inhibition. The protein functions to promote cyclin A accumulation and S phase entry in somatic cells by inhibiting the APC complex. At the G1-S transition, EMI-1 is transcriptionally induced by the E2F transcription factor. Overexpression accelerates S-phase entry and can override a G1 block caused by overexpression of Cdh1 or the E2F-inhibitor p105 retinoblastoma protein (pRb). Depleting cells of EMI-1 through RNA interference prevents accumulation of cyclin A and inhibits S phase entry.

8-Aminonaphthalene-1,3,6-trisulfonic acid disodium salt fluorescent dye
Supplier: Biotium
ANTS (8-aminonaphthalene-1,3,6-trisulfonic acid, disodium salt) is a highly negatively charged dye with an amino group that can be coupled to an aldehyde or ketone group to form an unstable Schiff base. The Schiff base is usually chemically reduced by sodium borohydride (NaBH4) or sodium cyanoborohydride (NaB(CN)H3) to form a stable linkage. This labeling technique has been widely used for the labeling and subsequent sequencing of oligosaccharides and glycoproteins. The negative charges of the dye facilitate the electrophoretic separation of the degradation products of carbohydrate polymers.

Anti-BCL10 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: BL10/411]
Supplier: Prosci
Bcl10, with an N-terminal caspase recruitment domain (CARD), is found in a number of apoptotic regulatory molecules. It was identified through its direct involvement in t(1;14) of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma. Expression of Bcl10 was shown to induce NFkB activation in a NIK-dependent pathway. This antibody labels subpopulations of normal B and T cells and is a useful tool for the sub-classification of lymphomas. In MALT lymphomas with the t(1;14) translocation, while 55% of MALT lymphomas lacking this translocation exhibited the same labeling pattern, although at a much lower level.

Anti-PTH Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: PRTM1-3]
Supplier: Prosci
Parathyroid hormone (PTH), parathormone or parathyrin, is secreted by the chief cells of the parathyroid glands as a polypeptide containing 84 amino acids, yet effective hormone-receptor interaction requires solely the 34-N-terminal amino acids. While PTH acts to increase the concentration of ionic calcium (Ca2+) in the blood, calcitonin, a hormone produced by the parafollicular cells (C cells) of the thyroid gland, acts to decrease ionic calcium concentration. PTH essentially acts to increase the concentration of calcium in the blood by acting upon the parathyroid hormone 1 receptor, which is present at high levels in bone and kidney, and the parathyroid hormone 2 receptor, which is present at high levels in the central nervous system, pancreas, testis, and placenta. Anti-TYMS Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: TMS715]
Supplier: Prosci
This antibody is specific for a protein of 36kDa, identified as Thymidylate Synthase (TS). Thymidylate synthase converts deoxyuridine monophosphate (dUMP) to deoxythymidine monophosphate (dTMP), which is essential for DNA biosynthesis. Thymidylate synthase is also a critical target for the fluoropyrimidines, an important group of anti-neoplastic drugs that are widely used in the treatment of solid tumors. Both 5-FU and fluorodeoxyuridine are converted in tumor cells to FdUMP which inactivates thymidylate synthase by formation of a ternary covalent complex in the presence of the folate cofactor 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate. Expression of thymidylate synthase protein is associated with response to 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) in human colorectal, gastric, head and neck, and breast carcinomas.
