Mouse Recombinant CCL2 (from CHO cells)

Supplier: Adipogen

CCL2, also called monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1), is a member of the C-C or beta chemokine family that is best known as a chemotactic agent for mononuclear cells. Fibroblasts, glioma cells, smooth muscle cells, endothelial cells, lymphocytes and mononuclear phagocytes can produce CCL2 either constitutively or upon mitogenic stimulation, but monocytes and macrophages appear to be the major source. In addition to its chemotactic activity, CCL2 induces enzyme and cytokine release by monocytes, NK cells and lymphocytes, and histamine release by basophils that express its receptor CCR2. Additionally, it promotes Th2 polarization in CD4+ T cells. CCL2-mediated recruitment of monocytes to sites of inflammation is proposed to play a role in the pathology of atherosclerosis, multiple sclerosis and allergic asthma.

Mouse Recombinant IL-36beta (from E. coli)

Supplier: Adipogen

IL-36alpha (IL-1F6), IL-36beta (IL-1F8) and IL-36gamma (IL-1F9) bind to IL-36R (IL-1Rrp2) and IL-1RAcP, activating similar intracellular signals as IL-1 and are inhibited by IL-36Ra. The expression of IL-36 cytokines has been shown to occur at different sites including the lung and skin and can be derived from diverse cell types including keratinocytes, bronchial epithelium as well as macrophages, monocytes and different T cell subsets. IL-36 family members induce the production of proinflammatory cytokines, including IL-12, IL-1beta, IL-6, TNF-alpha and IL-23 in BMDC and CD4 T cells. Skin and dendritic cells are targets of the IL-36 interleukins leading to a Th1 response. These cytokines may represent potential targets for immune-mediated inflammatory conditions or, alternatively, could be used as adjuvants in vaccination.

Mouse Recombinant CD274 (from CHO cells)

Supplier: Adipogen

Programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1, B7-H1 or CD274) is a member of the growing B7 family of immune proteins that provide signals for both stimulating and inhibiting T cell activation. CD274 has been identified as one of two ligands for programmed death 1 (PD-1), a member of the CD28 family of immunoreceptors. CD274 is widely expressed in several organs such as heart, skeletal muscle, placenta and lung, and in lower amounts in thymus, spleen, kidney and liver. CD274 expression is upregulated in a small fraction of activated T and B cells and a much larger fraction of activated monocytes. CD274 expression is also induced in dendritic cells and keratinocytes after IFN-gamma stimulation. CD274 expression is also upregulated in a variety of tumor cell lines. Interaction of CD274 with PD-1 results in inhibition of TCR mediated proliferation and cytokine production, suggesting an inhibitory role in regulating immune responses. The CD274 - PD-1 pathway is involved in the negative regulation of some immune responses and may play an important role in the regulation of peripheral tolerance.

Anti-COL1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Adipogen

The proteolysis of collagens plays an important role in numerous physiological and pathological situations such as morphogenesis, wound healing, arthritis, arteriosclerosis and tumor metastasis. Triple helical type I collagens are made up of two alpha1 (I) and one alpha2 (I) chains, and are found in skin, tendon, ligament and interstitial tissues. Due to their fibrillary structure native collagens are resistant to most proteases. They are substrates for certain matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which constitute a family of zinc-dependent enzymes catalyzing the degradation of extracellular matrix components. Initial MMP-8 dependent cleavage of collagen into the characteristic ¾ and ¼ fragments has been shown to enable MMP-9 diffusion along the protein helix with preferential binding to the collagen ¾ fragment tail. Finally, untwisting of the helix end results in the local denaturation of the triple helical structure.

Anti-FAF1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-FAF1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

Fas-associated protein 1 (FAF1) was initially identified as a Fas-binding pro-apoptotic protein that is component of the death-inducing signaling complex in Fas-mediated apoptosis. FAF1 can also induce apoptosis in the absence of extrinsic death signals when overexpressed although it does not contain typical death motifs such as the death domain, death effector domain, and caspase recruitment domain. Overexpression of FAF1 also decreases the basal level of NF-kB activity in transfected 293 cells, inhibits NF-kB activity induced by TNF-a, IL-1b and lipopolysaccharide, and prevents NF-kB translocation to the nucleus, suggesting that another role of FAF1 is to negatively regulate the activity of NF-kB. FAF1 can also interact with the inflammatory signaling PYRIN-containing Apaf-1-like proteins (PYPAFs, also called NALPs) such as PYPAF1, PYPAF2 (NALP2), and PYPAF7, suggesting FAF1 may also be involved in the inflammation pathway. Multiple differentially spliced isoforms of FAF1 are known to exist.

Anti-AFAP1L2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-AFAP1L2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

AFAP1L2, also known as XB130, is structurally similar to actin-filament-associated protein (AFAP), containing several SH2- and SH3-binding motifs, two pleckstrin homology domains, a coiled-coil region, and many potential phosphorylation sites. It interacts with and is phosphorylated by c-Src tyrosine kinase. Suppression of AFAP1L2 via siRNA reduced Src activity, IL-8 production, EGF-induced phosphorylation of Akt and GSK3beta, and altered cell cycles in human lung epithelial cells suggesting that AFAP1L2 plays a role as an adaptor in the regulation of Src signal transduction and multiple cellular functions. Recent experiments have shown that AFAP1L2 is highly expressed in thyroid and is the substrate RET/PTC kinase, a thyroid-specific kinase that plays a pathogenic role in papillary thyroid cancer. Down-regulation of AFAP1L2 in these cancer cells reduced Akt activity, inhibiting cell-cycle progression and cancer cell survival in suspension, indicating that AFAP1L2 may be a valuable target in thyroid cancer therapy. At least four isoforms of AFAP1L2 are known to exist.

Anti-KIAA0195 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-KIAA0195 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

The FERM and PDZ domain containing (FRMPD) protein family consists of four proteins that contain a FERM (Four-point-one, erzin, radixin, moesin) domain and at least one PDZ (PSD-95/Discs large/Zonula-occuldens-1) domain. FRMPD4, also known as Preso, also contains another protein interaction domain termed WW (domain with two conserved Trp residues) at its amino terminus. It was identified through a yeast two-hybrid screen using the PDZ domain of PSD-95 as bait and is highly expressed in multiple regions of the brain and is enriched in the postsynaptic density (PSD) fractions. Overexpression of FRMPD4 in cultured hippocampal neurons significantly increased the linear density of dendritic spines without changing their length and width; conversely, knockdown experiments using RNAi caused a decrease in spine density, indicating FRMPD4 positively regulates dendritic spine density but not morphology. The decreased level of FRMPD4 also resulted in reduced levels of excitatory synaptic transmission, suggesting that FRMPD4 is required for maintenance of excitatory synaptic transmission.
