K’NEX Education Intro to Simple Machines: Wheels/Axles & Inclined Planes
Investigate and experiment with 7 functioning Wheel & Axle and Inclined Plane models designed to demonstrate science and technology concepts.
Students can determine, through investigation, if the machine multiplies the force it applies to the resistance (load), if the machine changes the direction of the force they apply, and more.
Electric Generator
This belt-driven generator may be used with our Steam Engine (63030-00 ). Operating at approximately 1500 rpm, the generator will produce enough electricity to light the included 3.8 volt bulb. The unit is mounted on a metal base (7.6×11.4 cm) and has a V-grooved pulley for the drive belt.

Build three vessels out of your recycled plastic beverage bottles then power them with the sun using the included 1/2 watt, waterproof solar panel. You can build a solar speed boat, an air boat, and a surface submarine. No batteries required.
