Expanding on concepts learned in the Introduction to Mineral Crystals (60158-00) lab, here students construct models of the six basic crystal shapes, then derive their own definitions of each form by making observations, taking measurements and recording their findings.

By playing this fun game, students will better understand the intricacies of the rock cycle, including the formation and breakdown of rocks and the processes by which one type of rock becomes another.
